It makes me really reconsider choosing this school.

Students at Rutgers attempt call for the hanging of the American flag in Rutgers classrooms.

I'm amazed that we aren't allowed to have flags in a state university.

Oh when the sun beats down and burns the tar up on the roof. And your shoes get so hot, you wish your tired feet were fire-proof.

Some days just feel longer than others. Does anyone know why that is?
I guess the heat index hovering around 100 today made it feel longer as did my decision to not stay at school all day.

Yes, school makes my day go faster. I don't really like it but I am far from disliking it at this point in time. Besides they air-condition that place and as strange as this sounds it actually felt about 10 degrees cooler outside on campus than it was outside at home. I thought there was some rule about cities generally being hotter in the summer (or year 'round for that matter) than the suburbs... Was I mistaken?

I spent the evening editing my sister's paper for some American Lit class. I was quite amused to see that she had been assigned several stories for that class that I had read or in some cases "read" for Stelz's class back in high school. It did make it easier to edit the paper though. I'm not sure whether she just took my changes as dogma or whether she considered and agreed with them. I can almost promise you it was the former but hey whatever.

I also just learned that Night in Venice is this weekend. It's actually fun but I don't know who I can get together to go on such short notice. I am positive that most of the Mafia will be unable to attend, I'd be lucky if I could get one or two at this point. I suppose Lil K will go. Perhaps Rob, Nina, Zach, Tim, Erica & Ray will come. In any event, if you are interested in joining me just give me a call or email or whatever.

I guess you are in that count now too.
